Dr. Roza Pati Joins Press Conference on Miami-Dade Anti-Trafficking Efforts

At the invitation of State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle, Professor Roza Pati, Founder and Director of The John J. Brunetti Human Trafficking Academy, attended a press conference of Attorney General James Uthmeier, who announced providing $1.5 million to strengthen State Attorney’s and Miami Dade’s fight against human trafficking.

The press conference held at Camillus House featured the two devout public servants thoroughly committed in working together to shape statewide and national responses to this crime, in a united commitment to expanding investigations, protecting the Florida community, and enhancing survivor support. In a brief conversation with the Attorney General James Uthmeier, Professor Pati, also on behalf of Dean Tarlika Nuñez-Navarro, thanked him for his support of St. Thomas University College of Law, and for his dedication to a bipartisan commitment to combatting human trafficking.
