Erik Gray is a founding partner of Queers Uniting to End Exploitation (QUEE). Where they speak nationally on social justice, LGBTQ2IA+ issues, commercial sexual exploitation, and homeless youth. Erik is a human trafficking survivor expert, spoken word poet, and community leader in Seattle, WA. Where they seek to revolutionize systems that sought to serve him but failed. Centering anti-violence response, mental health, and protected classes, Erik serves as Victim Advocate on the Therapeutic Alternatives Unit with King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Previously, Erik served by addressing the frequently overlooked experience of boys/men, transgender, and LGBTQ2IA+ as an advocate at REST (Real Escape from the Sex Trade). Prior, he launched a shelter focused on serving youth of color with YouthCare. Erik has also served on the Kitsap County Human Rights Commission, as Student President of Olympic College, on multiple Diversity Advisory Boards and volunteer caregiver at Bailey-Boushay HIV/AIDS hospice. Erik continues his dedication to public service as an expert consultant with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center, and Shared Hope JuST Council.
