112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees

September 28, 2026 | 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

We must seek ways of treating people with humanity, with the dignity that is theirs.”

                                                                                                                                                                          – Pope Leo XIV

The John J. Brunetti Human Trafficking Academy joins the Holy See in celebrating the World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR), a staple event for the Catholic Church since 1914. It is always an occasion to express concern for vulnerable people on the move, including victims of human trafficking; to call all people of good will to action; to pray for people on the move as they face many challenges; to increase awareness about the opportunities that migration offers; to encourage communities world-wide to welcome, protect, and integrate migrants and refugees and to promote their cause as a responsibility for common good and human dignity.
