Doris Tobón is the Administrative Assistant for The John J. Brunetti Human Trafficking Academy. She defines herself as an engineer with a passion for management and continuous improvement, as a loving and committed family member and community member, and as a great admirer of Jesus Christ. Before her current role, Doris spent several years at a leading Colombian university, where her work played a key role in driving meaningful and lasting social transformation in the community. More recently, she contributed her expertise to two U.S. companies in the construction and technology sectors.

Doris holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science, an MBA and a Masters in Creative Writing from Icesi University in Colombia, and a Masters of Management from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.

Doris deeply values education and human dignity, and is driven by the daily opportunity she currently has to support the growth and development of the Human Trafficking Academy. She is committed to enhancing its operations, improving processes, and advancing its mission to combat human trafficking and support survivors’ well-being.
